My name's Amber, and this is my recap journal for everything that I do while I'm on the WDW College Program for the Spring 2006 Semester.

5. What Disney theme parks have you been to?: Disney World, 14 times, Disneyland, 3 times
6. Favourite Disney ride?: Tower of Terror and Mission Space
7. Favourite Disney movie?: The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, and Mulan
8. Favourite Disney Character?: Ariel, Mulan, Cinderella
9. If you already know your role what is yours?: Operations
10. If you already know, what is your arrival date?: January 18 - June 2
11. Tell us something about yourself that you find interesting or that you just want us to know!
I'm one of the biggest Disney fans ever. Well... at least my friends say that. I wear a Sorcerer Mickey pin on my Target uniform... totally not allowed, but I don't care. :D My friends call me a Disney Freak... I know so much random Disney trivia that it should be illegal!

(1) What term are you applying for at the college program?: Spring '06
(2) Do you want to live in Vista Way or Chatham Square: I don't know much about all of it... honestly, anywhere is fine for me... as long as I have cool roommates and I get along with them.
(3) What roles did you choose: Operations, Transportation, and Hospitality... but like someone else said, I'm not worried as to where I'll be. Being THERE is part of the fun!
(5) Where would you like to work?: I'm torn between three choices. :D
~ The Magic Kingdom ~ because it's... um... where all the magic is for me. I would almost feel like a sellout to my own vision if I weren't working there... but I also have a feeling that I'd deal with LOTS of children...
~ EPCOT ~ my favorite place... and a place where I think I would have a lot of fun working.
~ Disney-MGM ~ I would love to work at the Tower of Terror. :D
(6) Which role are you hoping for most? I really want to work in Operations... because I think it would be sooo much fun to be on stage and working with the guests and interacting with them! Part of the fun for me is being able to adapt to the situation and the people.
(7) What are you most excited about? The ENTIRE thing. :D
(8) What are you most nervous about? Meeting my roommates (although one of my friends applied so I think we might room together!), learning my job... making it IN (which is a HUGE source of pain right now)... a lot of stuff. :( Nervous excitement, ha ha ha.

Your Favorites:
(9) Park: EPCOT. I'm a die hard fan of the EPCOT that was, is, and will be... lol. I find that I have so much fun just simply exploring World Showcase, not trying to rush. I like to take pictures, so that works for me too, because the scenery is BEAUTIFUL there. I'm a huge Figment and Imagination! fan (see the icon), so going there inspires little chills from back when they had the old Dreamfinder and Figment ride (with the one little spark and all... :D).
(10) Parade: The Main Street Electrical Parade. Not many people know this... and it worked out well for me... but I bought the entire Classic Disney Album Set JUST FOR the music from the parade. I saw it on tv once, and I started to CRY. It holds many memories for me.... and embodies a piece of the soul of Disney to me.
(11) MGM show: Beauty and the Beast
(13) Land in the Magic Kingdom: Tomorrowland
(14) Country in the World Showcase: Japan

(16) Favorite Disney Songs: "Part of Your World", "Reflection", "Colors of the Wind", "A Whole New World", "So This Is Love", "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes", "Once Upon a Dream", "I Won't Say I'm In Love"... anything and anything really, but mostly anything that is a Princess song... lol. :D
(17) Favorite Disney Resorts: Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Port Orleans (because it's a very very good rendering of my home, New Orleans), Coronado Springs.
(18) Favorite animated Disney Movies: Have been named.
(19) Favorite non-animated Disney Movies: Pirates of the Carribean, Freaky Friday, The Lizzie McGuire Movie
